Evelyn Joyce Drake

McMinnville, TN resident and DeKalb County, TN native Evelyn Joyce Drake, age 78, was born July 30, 1939 and died May 17, 2018 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.A homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Orville Vernice and Mattie Cleo Blankenship Hutchins. She was married to John Morris Drake who preceded her in death on August 10, 2002. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Robin Morton; brother, Tommy Hutchins; and sister, Betty Sue Hutchins.She is survived by daughter, Daphne Boles of Murfreesboro, TN; four grandchildren, Chelsea Brumbelow and husband Lee of Knoxville, TN, Mallory Morton of Los Angeles, CA, and Natalee and McKay Boles both of Murfreesboro, TN; two great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Brody Brumbelow; three sisters and brother-in-law, Louvene Dunlap of Rock Island, TN, Brenda and Buddy McBride of Murphy, NC, and Ova Lee Drake of Eaton, IN; and sister-in-law, Darlene Hutchins of McMinnville.Visitation will be Sunday, May 27, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at High's.
