Gary Lynn "Buzzy" Lavender

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Gary Lynn “Buzzy” Lavender, age 65, was born June 27, 1955 and died May 19, 2021 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. A retired truck driver with Batesville Casket Company, he was the son of the late Joe and Christine Kuhn Lavender. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Joe Lavender and Barry “Bo” Lavender. Mr. Lavender is survived by sister-in-law, Beverly Lavender of Rock Island, TN; two nieces, Andrea (Cory) Turner and Jennifer Jones, both of McMinnville, TN; and four great-nieces and two great-nephews also survive. Graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Skurlock Cemetery in White County, TN. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
