Gavin Hallum Dodson

McMinnville resident and Nashville, TN native Gavin Hallum Dodson, 7 months, was born April 11, 2024 and died November 13, 2024 at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, TN following a short illness. 

Gavin was the son of Justin Dodson and Michaela Hallum, both of McMinnville. 

In addition to his parents, Gavin is survived by grandparents, Jessica Hernandez and Jose, Melissa Hillis and Micheal Hallum; great-grandparents, Ann Hallum, Kay Holt and Linda and E.L. Maynard; aunt and uncles, Saul Dodson, Isabella Hernandez, Roberto Dodson and Dustin Hallum and several other loved ones. 

Gavin was a blessing to all. He brought so much joy to so many and was filled with so much love and happiness. Gav was a chatterbox who brought joy with his words. Baby Gavin loved bathtime following that up with his cozy bear outfit. He will be missed by so many and he will forever be loved by a village of amazing people. His memory will live on forever. 

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in High’s Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
