McMinnville resident and Oneida, TN native Gayla Rose Seals, age 73, was born February 11, 1950 and died September 3, 2023 at her residence following a short illness.
A homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith, she was the daughter of the late Prentis Clayton Clark and Audrey Mae Boyd Davis. She was married August 30, 1987 to her soulmate, Everett Randall Seals, who preceded her in death on January 19, 2013. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister Fairy Jewell Donalson and two brothers, Ronnie Clark and Mike Davis.
Mrs. Seals is survived by her daughter Misty (Jim) Flesher II of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren Faidrah (John) Reed and Jim Flesher III, all of Smithville, TN; great grandchildren Maizleigh, Archie, Montgomery and Baby Reed on the way; brothers Richie (Jennifer) Clark of Hillsboro, TN, Mickey (Patsy) Davis of McMinnville, TN, Mitch (Debra) Davis of Woodbury, TN; and sister Melody (Leslie) Ward of McMinnville, TN.
Gayla was a dedicated wife, mother, beloved aunt, loving sister, and a cherished friend to all who knew her.
Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Richie Clark officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at High’s.
