Gladys Boyce Martin, age 67, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native was born January 24, 1954 and died July 20, 2021 following a lingering illness. She was the daughter of the late William Boyd Seals and Gladys Iona Haley Seals Patton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband and the love of her life, Glenn H. Martin; stepfather, James Patton; husband, James Hobbs; and triplets, Jason, Jeremy, and Jamie. Mrs. Martin is survived by two sons and spouse, Donnie Lawayne Frizzell and Phillip Thomas (Karly) Frizzell; sister, Rachel (Danny) Henegar; and brother, William Boyd “Bud” (Janice) Seals, Jr. all of McMinnville, TN; four grandchildren, Tara Spitnale, Justin Frizzell, Patrick (Shelly) Odineal, and Matthew Odineal; eight great-grandchildren; special friends, Jean McCormick, Vickie Frizzell, Vickie Cothern, Joyce McAmis, The Martins, The Mayfield families, and Shannon Standefer. Several nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive. Before retiring early due to health issues, she worked at numerous factories in McMinnville and surrounding counties. She always loved to work and gave her best at all she did. She also worked 12 years at the V.F.W. as a cook, waitress, etc. Her last employer was with the Warren County Middle School as a cafeteria worker. No services will be held at this time.
