Harold Eugene "Pete" Williams

July 15, 1942 — December 1, 2019

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Harold Eugene "Pete" Williams, age 77, was born July 15, 1942 and died December 1, 2019 at his residence following a short illness. Mr. Williams was a retired superintendent with APAC with 30 years of service, a retired foreman with the Warren County Utility District, a United States Army veteran and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He travelled all over the country on his motorcycle, and he was a loving husband and father. He was the son of the late Albert Brown and Violet Virginia Henderson Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Albert Brown Williams, Jr.; and sister, Peggy Williams Bess. He was married on March 27, 1964 to Sylvia Whitley Williams of McMinnville. In addition to his wife of 55 years, he is survived by two children, Angela Northcutt and husband Terry of McMinnville and Timothy Eugene Williams of Viola, TN; four grandchildren and spouses, Joshua Harold Taylor of Texas, Jacob Matthew and Tyke Taylor of McMinnville, Brittany and Brian Halfacre of McMinnville, and Sarah Hayward of Rock Island, TN; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in High's Chapel with Ronnie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery with military grave rites administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High's.
