McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Harold J. Griffith, age 92, was born November 9, 1926 and died December 24, 2018 at Raintree Manor in McMinnville following an extended illness. A retired maintenance superintendent with Burroughs-Ross-Colville, a United States Army veteran of WWII, and a member of East End Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Hubert and Alta Johnson Griffith. He was married to Rachel Olyne Watson Griffith who preceded him in death on August 2, 2002. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Carl "Cal" Griffith; sister, Betty Eaton; and son-in-law, Kelly Rowland. He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Pam Rowland of Rock Island, TN and Ann and Bobby Dickson of McMinnville; six grandchildren and spouses, Crystal and Roger Byars, Monty and Amanda Rowland, and Derek and Jeaninne Masters all of McMinnville, and Dustin Masters of Atlanta, GA, and Rodney and Karla Dickson and Greg and Michelle Dickson all of Ohio; fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Joe Wanamaker of McMinnville and Lola Griffith of McMinnville; aunt, Pressie Ladd of Jasper, TN; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 in High's Chapel with Kevin Key officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, Hwy. 30 with military honors administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at High's. Donations may be made to Mt.
