Harold Talton Wright

McMinnville, TN resident and native Harold Talton Wright, age 73, was born June 20, 1951 and died December 2, 2024 at his residence following a sudden illness.

A veteran of the TN Army National Guard, retired superintendent with General Shale and an employee of the Warren County Sanitation Department at the Viola Convenience Center, he was the son of the late Everett Lee and Josie Swann Wright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Dale, Robert, Kenneth and G.W. Wright.

Mr. Wright was married February 11, 2000 to Linda Wright of McMinnville who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Mark Wright and Chastity Wright (Gary Campbell) both of McMinnville, Jeremy (Danielle) Wright of Manchester, TN, William (Kristin) Tant of Kansas and Haley (Daylan) Todd of McMinnville; grandchildren, Tristan King, Aiden Campbell, Madison Kanagie, Jace Wright, Jaxon Wright, Mason Wright, Grayson Tant, Savannah Tant, Bonnie Tant and Dominic Todd; great-grandchild, Kohen King; brother, Glenn Wright of Kansas and sister, Mary Jo Wright of Kansas. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024 in High’s Chapel with Ray Weddington to officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County. Full military honors will be administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
