Hazel Mai Holt Green

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Hazel Mai Holt Green, age 77, was born May 15, 1944 and died September 10, 2021 following an extended illness at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A retired seamstress from Hon Industries and a member of Grange Hall Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late James Willard and Margie Izora Gann Holt, Sr. She was married to Charles Edward Green of Morrison, TN on October 7, 1967. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James Holt, Jr. and Billy Holt. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Green is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Kristie Lynn and Brian Griffitts of Morrison, TN and Becki Green of Murfreesboro, TN; three grandchildren and spouses, Eric and Olivia Herlein, Samantha and Dan O'Donnell, and Christopher Griffitts and fiancee', Stephanie Forbes; three great-grandchildren, Aspen Griffitts, Grace O'Donnell, and Jackson Lyon; brother, Perry Holt of McMinnville, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Irene and Norman Harrell of Morrison, TN and Nancy and Billy Potter of McMinnville, TN; aunt, Minnie Holt Giddens; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 17, 2021 in High’s Chapel with James Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Grange Hall Cemetery in Warren County, TN.
