Rocky River Community resident and Warren County, TN native Herman Leon Ware, age 82, was born December 23, 1936 and died October 28, 2019 at his residence following an extended illness. Retired from Carrier Corporation, a United States Army veteran, and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Allen Bryan and Cleo Curtis Ware. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Lisa Gail Ware; three brothers, Bill, Joe and Paul Ware; and four sisters, Faye Wallace, Edith Ware, Edna Wanamaker and Nova June Myers. He was married to Arlene Boyd Ware of the Rocky River Community. In addition to his wife he is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery Alan and Cristina Ware of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Marie and Mark Stevens of the Rocky River Community; two grandchildren, Seth Boyd Stevens of the Rocky River Community and Aaron McPeak of McMinnville; two brothers and sister-in-law, James and Fran Ware of McMinnville and Gene Ware of Pontiac, MI; two sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Jane and Sylvester Skrowski of Murfreesboro, TN and Betty Ware of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in White Hill Cemetery, Van Buren County, TN with Garland Robinson officiating. Military grave rites will be administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. There will be no visitation at High's. Family and friends are to meet at the cemetery.
