James Douglas Beaty, II

Morrison, TN resident and Painesville, OH native James Douglas Beaty, II, age 59, was born December 15, 1963 and died July 26, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness.

A supervisor for Tennessee Warehouse, he was the son of Kathleen Beaty of McMinnville, TN and the late James Beaty. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by daughter, Courtney Beaty; maternal grandparents, Vernon and Mattie Dwornicki; paternal grandparents, Glen and Hazel Beaty; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Orbin and Peggy Hutchins and sister-in-law, Dianna Lynn Ross.

James was known as one of the best auto body men in Warren County and was an avid lover of classic vehicles and riding horses. Being in his barn with his horses was one of his favorite places. Along with those things, he also loves spending time with his family and friends. 

Mr. Beaty was married to Dawna Beaty of Morrison, TN on December 28, 1986. In addition to his mother and wife he is survived by brother, Philip Beaty of Morrison, TN; grandson, Eli Beaty; brother-in-law, Danny (Charlotte) Hutchins of Morrison, TN; three sisters-in-law, Darlene Thompson of Franklin, TN, Debi Merritt (Alan) of McMinnville, TN and Denise Williams (Clay) of Kentucky; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, special friends, horses and dogs.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Rachel Cantrell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at High’s.
