James "Jimmy Ray" Kirby

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native James “Jimmy Ray” Kirby, age 58, was born June 22, 1963 and died March 28, 2022 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN following an extended illness. A former employee of Carrier and member of East End Church of Christ, he was the son of Juanita Boren of McMinnville, TN and the late Jimmy Kirby. He was married to Michelle Kirby of McMinnville, TN on November 17, 1992. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Kirby is survived by brother, Brent (Kaye) Kirby of Crossville, TN; half-brother, Jeremy Williams of Morrison, TN; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Susan Davis of Rock Island, TN; nieces, Faith Cheyenne Kirby of Florida, Katelyn (Alan) Bledsoe of McMinnville, TN, Kiley Williams of McMinnville, TN and Taylor Herron of Cookeville, TN; nephews, Shane (Alexis) Whitman and Brandon (JoJo) Whitman, both of McMinnville, TN and Jayden Davis of Cookeville, TN; several great-nieces and great-nephews; sister-in-law, Renee (Thomas) Lance of McMinnville, TN and brother-in-law, Nathan (Jennifer) Davis of Cookeville, TN. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Kevin Key officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com. High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
