Janice Marie Dixon

McMinnville, TN resident and Franklin County, TN native Janice Marie Dixon, age 67, was born July 5, 1955 and died February 21, 2023 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville following an extended illness.           

A retired secretary with First Baptist Church and member of First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late J.D. and RayBelle Limbaugh Turner. She was married to Mel Dixon of McMinnville, TN on July 3, 2004.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dixon is survived by son, Shane (Mimi) Turner of Brentwood, TN; sister, Beth (Craig) Barnes of Manchester, TN; brothers, Ronnie Turner of Philadelphia, MS and Jimmy (Beverly) Turner of Estill Springs, TN; special niece, Carlie Barnes of Manchester, TN and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2023 at First Baptist Church with Jeff Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at High’s.
