Jean Campbell Martin

Knoxville, TN resident and Warren County native Jean Campbell Martin, age 87, was born May 23, 1937 and died September 5, 2024 at Pinnacle on Schaeffer in Knoxville, TN following a short illness. 

A retired customer service representative with Middle Tennessee Natural Gas and member of Westwood Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Claude M. and Opal Underhill Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by former husband, Joe Martin. 

Ms. Martin is survived by two daughters, Cogi (John) Sparkman of Knoxville, TN and Nichol (John) Vaden of Murfreesboro, TN; four grandchildren, Shelly (Lee) Routh of Knoxville, TN, Tyler (Danielle) McIntosh of Corryton, TN, Daniel Vaden of Murfreesboro, TN and Nicholas Vaden of Johnson City, TN; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas White and Aubrey and Paige Routh; brother, Kenneth M. (Barbara) Campbell of McMinnville and nieces. 

Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County with Tim Deason officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at High’s. No visitation will be held on Sunday and family and friends will meet at the cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Westwood Food Pantry or The Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Fund.
