Jerry Glenn Hester

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Jerry Glenn Hester, age 75, was born June 2, 1947 and died October 20, 2022 at NHC Healthcare Smithville, TN following an extended illness.  

A farmer and of the Christian faith, he was the son of the late Theodore and Bertie Rhody Hester.  

Mr. Hester was married March 9, 1976 to Irene Pelham Hester of McMinnville.  In additon to his wife, he is survived by three half-sisters and one half-brother;  brother-in-law, Lawton Pelham of McMinnville and many friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to NHC Healthcare of Smithville, TN and Avalon Hospice for their special care of Jerry.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Bascom Cemetery with Scotty Lawson officiating.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Sunday at High's.
