Jimmy Lloyd Cunningham, age 83, a McMinnville, TN resident and Sequatchie County, TN native was born February 21, 1937 and passed November 9, 2020 at his residence following a brief illness. He was the owner of Jim’s Locksmith, United States Air Force veteran of Korea, member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ and son of the late James and Rebecca Thompson Cunningham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, J.W. and Jerry Cunningham and sister, Tommie Daniels. Mr. Cunningham was married April 1, 1961 to Iva Jean Tenpenny Cunningham of McMinnville, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Pamela and Tommy Turner and Melissa and Jamie Brock both of McMinnville, TN; three grandsons, Philip and Brooke Brock of Bartlett, TN, and Jamison Brock and Nathanael Turner both of McMinnville, TN; two sisters, Betty Scott of McMinnville, TN and Dorothy McMahon of Kingston Springs, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2020 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Coffee County, TN with Larry Acuff officiating. Friends are to meet at the cemetery. Visitation will be held at the cemetery following the graveside service. Military grave rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 173 Honor Guard.
