Jimmy Mae Sullivan

Jimmy Mae Sullivan, age 79, a Bone Cave, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native was born April 9, 1940 and passed away June 15, 2019 at the Webb House in McMinnville following a lengthy illness. She was a farmer, a member of Mt. Elim Baptist Church, and daughter of the late Jim Emery and Lyla Pack Sullivan. Mrs. Sullivan was married to Dan Queen, who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Michael Bruce Steakley, grandson, Brandon Steakley and, brother Joe Hubert.  She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jason Emery and Leeann Miller of Rock Island; grandchildren Zachary McClain, Tyler Patrick and Logan Patrick; great-grandchildren, Roman Robinson and Malakai Robinson; brother, Burton Sullivan of Sparta; sisters, Charlotte Sullivan of Bone Cave, Virgie Walker of Centertown; Donna Sullivan of Rock Island; Phyllis Seaborn of Rock Island; Sharon Moody of Bone Cave; and Bettye Hayes of OK. Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Long Cemetery in Van Buren County with Willard Ralph, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at High's.  Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
