Joel Glenn Brock

Doyle, TN resident and White County, TN native Joel Glenn Brock, age 70, was born December 21, 1950 and died January 7, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness. A United States Air Force veteran of Vietnam, former welder at Dezurik for 22 years, and a member of Greenwood Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Earl David and Lillian Dorothy Craig Brock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Betty McCoy; brother, Elbert Lee McGuire; and step-son, Seth Guy. Mr. Brock is survived by two children, Michael (Nandra) Brock of Spencer, TN and Casey (Ryan) Ginder of Mt. Pleasant, NC; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; companion, Mary K. Guy of Doyle, TN; three step-children, Bobby (Brandy) Grissom of Spencer, TN, Bridget Evans (Shannon Jenkins) of Doyle, TN, and Nakisha (John) Judkins of Doyle, TN; nine step-grandchildren; four siblings, Margie Carter of McMinnville, TN, Earl (Roberta) Brock of Doyle, TN, Donzetta Brock Morris of McMinnville, TN, and Sammy (Lesa) Brock of McMinnville, TN; many nieces and nephews; and caretaker, Jayne Cope of Spencer, TN. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Darrell Nance officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in White County, TN. Military Grave Rites will be administered by VWF Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173 Honor Guard.
