McMinnville resident and Columbia, TN native Josie Caline Winchester, age 82, was born May 6, 1942 and died May 27, 2024 at Erlanger Baroness Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
A retired employee of Formfit Rogers and a member of McMinnville Church of God, she was the daughter of the late Jimmie Tindell and Bettie Irene Basham Black. She was married to Frank Alfred Winchester who preceded her in death on December 3, 1982. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Jimmy Frank Jason Winchester; brother, James Mason Black and sister, Sharon Mae Coppinger.
Mrs. Winchester is survived by children, Yvonne Caline Harbin and David Lynell Williams, both of McMinnville; special friends, Fred and Nancy Turner of McMinnville and Daniel Campbell of Altamont, TN; grandchildren, Rachel Nichole Hill, Jory Campbell and John Marshall Campbell; great-grandchildren, Syllvia (Wayne) Ritchey, Austin Tyler Totherow (August Shannon) and Gabriel Matthew Totherow and great-great-grandchildren, Brian Totherow, Cort Totherow, Edgar Ritchey and Azlan Scott.
Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at High’s.
