Joy Elaine Davis

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County native Joy Elaine Davis, age 71, was born May 21, 1953 and died October 22, 2024 at her residence following a brief illness. 

Mrs. Davis was a retired secretary with O.K. Heating and Air and attended Oasis Church. She was the daughter of the late Harvel and Frances Hennessee Hale. She was married March 17, 1972 to Carl William Davis who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie and Wayne Hale and sisters, Kathy King and Liz Reed. 

She is survived by children, Kim Miller and Jeff (Brandy) Davis both of McMinnville; grandchildren, Logan (Gretchen) Miller, Cameron (Grace) Miller, Jade (Tristan) King, Drew Davis and Ansley Guess; great-grandchildren, Kohen King and Luke Miller; brothers, Mike Hale and Sammy Hale both of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Mark King of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Maxine Davis of Hillsboro, TN and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2024 in High’s Chapel with Steve Breedlove to officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
