McMinnville, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Juanita Martin Oliver, age 96, was born July 12, 1924 and died August 28, 2020 at her residence following a sudden illness. A retired teacher with the Warren and Van Buren County School Systems and a member of East End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late James Walter and Pearl Louise Hillis Martin. She was married on July 12, 1984 to Edward Brown Oliver who preceded her in death on February 10, 2010. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma Jean and Thurman Ward and Winona and Marion Ward; brother and sister-in-law, James and Faye Martin, Jr.; niece, Alice Christian; three nephews, Gary, Murrell and Michael Ward; great-niece, Mary Christian; and great-nephew, Paul Ward. She is survived by special nieces and nephews, Ricky and Brenda Henderson, Tommy and Linda Thompson, and Darrell and Jan Ward all of McMinnville, TN; several other nieces and nephews; special caretaker, Kathy Elrod; and lots of family and friends also survive. A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 31, 2020 at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN with Garland Robinson and Brian Reed officiating.
