McMinnville resident and Warren County native Julius Orene Adams, age 75, was born April 3, 1949 and died December 28, 2024 at St. Thomas River Park hospital following a sudden illness.
A retired employee of Morgan and Young Auto Parts and member of the Church of God, he was the son of the late Orene and Iris Bain Adams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Bobby "Sonny" Adams, Anna Mae Sharpe, Jewellene Hillis, Lucille Wagner and Dickie Hillis.
He was married April 4, 1980 to Brenda Myers Adams of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Julie (Charles) Reynolds, Randy (Kinnette) Adams and Becky Davenport all of McMinnville and Susan Adams of Florida; eighteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill Adams of Spencer, TN and I.V. Hillis, Jr. of McMinnville; sister, Deborah Ballew of Bone Cave, TN and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2025 in High's Chapel with Jason Nunley officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery @ Mud Creek. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. until time of service Thursday at High's.
