Katheryn Elnora Basham

McMinnville, TN resident and Allegan, MI native Katheryn Elnora Basham, age 85, was born January 18, 1939 and died August 12, 2024 in NHC McMinnville following a brief illness.

A retired employee of NHC Healthcare, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Margaret Dennison Gipe. She was married September 20, 1958 to Thomas Paul Basham who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Dale (Helen) Gipe and Dean (Sharon) Gipe; sister, Naomi (Clayton) Newhouse; brothers-in-law, Jack Miller and Tom Haight and sister-in-law, Jody Miller.

Mrs. Basham is survived by sister, Lana (Bob) Claugh; sisters-in-law, Cathey (Delano) Miller and Shirley Haight; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family, Alex (Blanca) and family, Sabrina Jarvis, Lena Sharp and family and faithful four-legged friends, D.O.G. and Trixie.

The family would like to thank the staff at NHC McMinnville for all of their love and support during this difficult time. 

Per her wishes, Mrs. Basham will be cremated. There will not be any services or visitation held at High's.
