Katie Lou Thomas

McMinnville, TN resident and Limestone County, AL native Katie Lou Thomas, age 93, was born March 24, 1929 and died January 1, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.           

A homemaker, former CNA with Warren Regional Hospital and of the Baptist faith, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Nannie Turner Collins. She was married to Albert Wray and Johnny Thomas, both who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two children, Donald Wray and Joey Wray and four siblings, Bud Collins, Jake Collins, June Collins and Jewel Solomon.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by three children, Peggy Hopkins, Keith (Frances) Wray and Robin (Kathy) Wray, all of McMinnville, TN; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, May Kelley of Giles County, TN and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Thomas will be cremated and a private family inurnment will be held at a later date. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
