Kenneth Louis Kuhn, age 68, passed from this life on the morning of Sunday, April 24, 2022 from an extended illness at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN. He was a Rock Island, TN resident, Christian and a member of Friendship the Baptist Church. He spent his young adult life as a working musician, performing most notably as a member of the legendary da Kingfish Band. Later in life, he owned local businesses in McMinnville, TN, including The Music Store, Kuhn's Real Estate & Auto, and Wholesale Motors. He also worked in sales before retiring. Although unable to be active for several years, he achieved 32nd degree Mason with the Scottish Rite. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Vera (Mullican) Kuhn of Rock Island; one son, Josh Kuhn of Rock Island; one daughter and son-in-law Haley (Kuhn) and Jordan Hutchison of McMinnville; father, Joe L. Kuhn of Rock Island and his wife Judy Kuhn; one sister and brother-in-law, Lisa (Kuhn) and Michael Gunning of Rock Island; one grandson, Oaklen Hutchison of McMinnville; nieces, Terra "Tegy" Jaco of Rock Island, Michelle Gunning of Rock Island, Jessica (Jody) Denney of New Market, Alabama; nephew Brad (Letitia) Mullican of McMinnville; two brothers-in-law, Sam Mullican of McMinnville and Louis D. Mullican of Rock Island; Scores of great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Roy and Nola Kuhn of Rock Island; Jack and Martine Haley of Fort Meyers, FL; mother, Martha Ann (Haley) Kuhn of Rock Island; mother-in-law, Elsa Mullican of Rock Island; and sister-in-law Charlotte Mullican of McMinnville. Visitation will be at High Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 4pm-7pm. There will be no visitation at High's on Wednesday. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. A graveside service will commence at Skurlock Cemetery in Quebeck, TN on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 3pm. At the service, the family welcomes you to come prepared with your funny and sweet stories about Kenny to share with everyone.
