Larry David Elliott

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Larry David Elliott, age 77, was born April 27, 1947 and died July 13, 2024 at his residence. 

A United States Army veteran of Vietnam, owner of Cambridge Development, Hearthwood Properties and Universal Constructors and a member of Centertown United Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Miller and Dora Davis Elliott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Mackie and James Elliott and seven sisters, Christine Collazo, Evaline Elliott, Louise Hildreth, Pearl Caldwell, Willie Caldwell, Lola Hash and Lexie Taylor. 

He was married to Jackie Campbell Elliott of McMinnville on June 21, 1996. In addition to his wife, Mr. Elliott is survived by children, John David (Chandra) Elliott of Readyville, TN and Lauren Lee (Bert) Sinks of McMinnville; four grandchildren, John Weslee (Lexie) Elliott, Anna Elliott, Blair Sinks and Elliott Sinks; sisters, Ellen Grissom of Florida and Ruby (Osburn) Huntley of McMinnville; brother, Dewey (Doris) Elliott of Rock Island, TN; brother-in-law, Bobby Hash of Texas; mother-in-law, Wilma Harrell of Woodbury, TN; brother-in-law, Ricky Ball of Woodbury, TN and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many friends. 

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Centertown United Methodist Church in Warren County. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at High’s and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Centertown United Methodist Church. 

Full military honors will be administered by American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064. 

Memorial contributions may be made to McMinnville Gideon Camp, Warren County Rescue Squad or Meals on Wheels.
