Larry Martin

Walling, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Larry Martin, age 78, was born March 1, 1944 and died October 3, 2022 at Manchester Center for Rehab in Manchester, TN following an extended illness. A retired maintenance employee from Oster and of the Church of God faith, he was the son of Joe and Virginia P. Raper Martin. He was married to Mary Frances Martin of Walling, TN on July 30, 2006. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first wife, Carolyn Faye Hodge Martin; sisters, Rebecca Bost and Susan Brist and brothers, Johnny Martin and Danny Ryan Martin. In addition to his wife, Mr. Martin is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Tena and Steve Qualls of Sparta, TN and Michelle and Scott Reeder of Hendersonville, TN; three grandchildren and spouses, Taylor and Samantha Qualls of Cookeville, TN and Morgan Reeder and Trevor Reeder, both of Hendersonville, TN; four great-grandchildren, Bryan and Kenzi Qualls and Salem and Cable Qualls and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Steve Qualls officiating. Burial will follow at Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
