Larry Wayne Womack

January 29, 1957 — February 11, 2020

Larry Wayne Womack, age 63, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County native was born January 29, 1957 and passed away February 11, 2020. He was an optometrist in Manchester, TN, a member of the Church of Christ and the son of O.M. Womack, Jr. and the late Mary Ruth Starnes Womack who passed in 1986. He was also preceded in death by sister, Linda Ann Womack King who passed in 2010. Mr. Womack is survived by son, Grant Monroe Womack of Nashville, TN; daughter, Anna Ruth Womack of McMinnville, TN; brother-in-law, Barry King; nephew, Justin King; niece and spouse, Jennifer and Matt Richey, all of McMinnville, TN; great nieces and nephews, Annie, Easton, and Aven King, and Dylan Barnes. Larry graduated from David Lipscomb College in 1979 and obtained a degree from   Southern College of Optometry in 1984. He began a career in optometry where he shared the gift of sight with many people. Larry also had a beautiful vision for photography. His favorite subjects were his family, birds, especially eagles, interesting people, waterscapes, and nature. Music was a meaningful part of his life. He loved going to concerts, music festivals, and listening to all kinds of artists. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Westwood Church of Christ with visitation and celebration of life immediately following in the fellowship hall.
