Linda Sue Brooks

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Linda Sue Brooks, age 73, was born December 31, 1949 and died October 7, 2023 at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville following an extended illness. A homemaker and of the Christian faith, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Billie Sue Smartt. She was married to Jimmy Brooks who preceded her in death in 1987. Mrs. Brooks is survived by son, Ricky Powers and grandson, Josh Powers, both of McMinnville. Graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at High’s. No visitation will be held on Wednesday and family will meet at the cemetery.
