Lisa Darlene Burger

McMinnville resident and Cannon County, TN native Lisa Darlene Burger, age 60, was born April 5, 1964 and died July 11, 2024 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN following a brief illness. 

A member of the Baptist church, she was the daughter of the late John Carson and Shirley Ann Mayo Burger, Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Tammy Newby, Kathy Burger and Danny Joe Burger.

Ms. Burger is survived by former husband and lifelong friend, Daniel Lee Holt of McMinnville; children, Kayla Holt of Las Vegas, NV and Kimberly (Tanner) Cantrell of McMinnville; grandson, Levi Cantrell; sister, Treva Wilson of McMinnville; niece, Becky Sanchez and family of Morrison, TN; nephews, Eddie Adams and Jeffery Adams and several other nieces and nephews. 

Lisa loved being a mother of two beautiful daughters. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson and watching him play ball. She is known for her unwavering and unconditional love for them.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024 in High’s Chapel with Robin Hornbuckle to officiate. Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery in Cannon County. Visitation will be Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at High’s.
