Lisa Holt Morton

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County native Lisa Holt Morton, age 63, was born November 14, 1961 and died January 23, 2025 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a brief illness.

A retired employee of Carrier and member of First Assembly of God, she was the daughter of Betty Sue Dodd of the Centertown Community and the late James Allen Holt, Sr. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by sister, Tammie Green.

Mrs. Morton was married June 28, 1980 to Michael Paul Morton of McMinnville who survives. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by children, Jennifer (Elmer) Bigham of McMinnville and Michael Aaron (Matt) Fusco-Morton of Manchester, TN; grandchildren, Brayden, Thomas, Colten and Deacon Bigham and Lillianah Morton; step-father, Richard Dodd of the Centertown Community; twin sister, Teresa (Jack) Lance of McMinnville; sister, Lora (Dewayne) Hickey of McMinnville; brother, James Allen (Layce) Holt, Jr. of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Sammy Lee to officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
