Louis Andrew Wiseman, age 94, a McMinnville, TN resident and New Market, AL native was born September 24, 1925 and passed away January 31, 2020 at NHC of McMinnville. He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam War, a construction worker with Disneyworld, the owner of an orange grove, an avid stamp collector, the son of the late Georgie and Minnie L. Hillis Wiseman, and a member of the Smyrna Church of Christ. He was married to Mildred Ross Wiseman on June 17, 1966 who preceded him in death in 2015. In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by daughter, Anne Hubbard; step-son, Jerry Sullivan and step-daughter, Carol Lynn Cole. Mr. Wiseman is survived by son, Rodger (Karen) Wiseman of Hattiesburg, MS; two step-sons, Larry D. (Dusty) Sullivan of Aberdeen, MS and Joey (Ella) Cole of Germany; two step-daughters, Sarah Allen of Aberdeen, MS and Janice (Jimmy) Downs of Ocala, Fla; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lottie (Titus) Ward of McMinnville, TN and Bertie Tenpenny of Rock Island, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Smyrna Church of Christ with Bill Walkup officiating. Burial will follow in Smyrna Cemetery with military grave rites conducted by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at High’s. Family and friends will meet at Smyrna Church of Christ for the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
