Lynn L. Bouldin, 80, of the Vervilla Community, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 7, 2019 after a sudden illness. Lynn was born September 19, 1938 in Warren County to Oda and Eliza Bouldin. He graduated from Morrison High School in 1957. On May 13, 1961 he married the former Chris Barr. Lynn was employed by Gant Oil Company where he was mentored by the late Paul Gant. In 1964, he founded Gant and Bouldin Tire Company while still serving as President of Gant Oil Company. In 1992, Lynn merged with Gateway Tire and Service, serving as General Manager until his time of death. He was a member of First Baptist McMinnville where he served as a deacon and trustee. He was a Paul Harris Fellow honoree of the McMinnville Noon Rotary Club. He served as treasurer of West Warren-Viola Utility District. He was the recipient of the Free Enterprise Award given by the McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce. He served in the Army National Guard for eight years. He loved spending time with family and friends, as well as working on his farm. Lynn is survived by his wife, Chris Bouldin of the Vervilla Community; his daughter, Katrina (Jr.) Wood also of the Vervilla Community; his son, Garth (Kim) Bouldin of Brentwood, TN; four grandsons, Ridge (Hillary) Nunley and Roth Nunley of Murfreesboro, TN, Chance Bouldin and Case Bouldin of Brentwood, TN; and two great-granddaughters, Brooklynn Nunley and Hadley Nunley. He also leaves behind several in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oda and Eliza Bouldin; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roe and Bertha Barr; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Visitation will be at High Funeral Home in McMinnville, TN on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Baptist McMinnville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Burial will follow at Bascom Cemetery in the Vervilla Community. Officiants will be Dr. Jeff Owens and Mark Karki.
