McMinnville, TN resident and Dekalb County, TN native Maggie Josephine McPherson, age 95, was born October 18, 1926 and died March 29, 2022 at The Webb House Retirement Center in McMinnville following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Codie and Dollie Carter Medley. She was married to James McPherson on January 10, 1948 who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters-in-law, Herman and Jane Medley and Clyde and Jewel Medley and son-in-law, Edwin Partin. Mrs. McPherson is survived by daughter, Linda Partin of Atlanta, GA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Alice McPherson of Chattanooga, TN and Steve and Cathy McPherson of Brentwood, TN; nine grandchildren, John (Becky) Partin, Cody (Sara) Partin, Rebecca (Alex) Ford, Maggie (Chase) Teichmann, Scott McPherson, Will McPherson, Jack McPherson, James McPherson and Joey McPherson; seven great-grandchildren, Charlie Partin, Andrew Partin, Nora Partin, Amelia Partin, Evie Partin, Gryffin Ford and Connor Ford; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and special caregiver, Joy Key. The family would like to extend a very special "thank you" to The Webb House Retirement Center staff and Avalon Hospice. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2022 with Ryan Heatherly officiating at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County, TN. There will be no service or visitation at High’s. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
