Marie Hobbs Brewer

Decatur, AL resident and McMinnville, TN native Marie Hobbs Brewer, age 84, was born March 11, 1935 and died October 19, 2019 at Decatur Health and Rehab. She was the daughter of the late James Arnold Hobbs and Christine Hobbs Lorance. She was married to Billy Oliver Brewer who preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Rickey A. and Kathy McGee Brewer of Decatur, AL and Bill and Lee Anne McClung Brewer of McMinnville; grandson, Tim Brewer and wife Shayna of McMinnville; three great-grandchildren, Molly, Wyatt and Macie Brewer all of McMinnville; and several cousins also survive. A graveside service and inurnment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019 in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Wade Farley officiating. There will be no visitation or service at High's. Family and friends are to meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Warren County Meals on Wheels or American Cancer Society.
