Marilyn "Diane" Turner Grissom

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Marilyn “Diane” Turner Grissom, age 70, was born May 17, 1951 and died March 17, 2022 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN following a sudden illness. A door greeter for Walmart and member of Smyrna Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Della Curtis Turner. She was married to Harry Grissom of McMinnville, TN on January 28, 1972. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Shawn Grissom; sister, Gail Dodson and brother, Bud Turner. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Grissom is survived by two children, Shayna and Randall Green of Beersheba Springs, TN and Joshua Smith of McMinnville, TN; daughter, LeAnne Grissom of McMinnville, TN; five grandchildren, MaKayla and Forrest McBee of Sewanee, TN, Clint and Brooklyn Grissom and Curtis and Amy Grissom both of McMinnville, TN, Kaleb Green of Beersheba Springs, TN and Kaylin Anderson of Coalmont, TN; one great-grandchild, Wrenley McBee; sister, Evelyn Martin of McMinnville, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Wayne Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Warren County, TN.
