Mark Randall Gwyn

Davidson County, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Mark Randall Gwyn, age 61, was born May 26, 1963 and died August 22, 2024 at his residence following a sudden illness. 

A retired director with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of Thelma Gwyn of Smithville, TN and the late Leonard Gwyn, Jr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Larry Gwyn.

Mr. Gwyn is survived by his mother; sister, Cathy (Steve) Officer of Smithville; brother, James “Mickey” (Marion) Gwyn of Murfreesboro, TN; nieces, Lashaun (Thad) Davenport of Antioch, TN and Tara Gwyn and Tamara Gwyn both of Murfreesboro; nephews, Bryan Officer of Lewisburg, TN and David Officer of Hermitage, TN; great-nephew, Donovan Gwyn of Murfreesboro; sister-in-law, Eva Gwyn of Florida; aunts, Fannie Biles and Jessie Ramsey both of McMinnville and uncle, Robert Gwynn of Murfreesboro.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Central Church of Christ. There will be no service or visitation at High's.
