McMinnville resident and Warren County native Martha Kirby, age 71, was born December 29, 1953 and died March 26, 2025 at her sister-in-law's residence following a short illness.
A retired teacher with Warren County School System and a member of Hebron Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late E.B. and Rebecca Woodlee Kirby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Sue Kirby and brother, Clyde E. Kirby.
Miss Kirby is survived by sister-in-law, Lori Kirby of McMinnville; nieces and nephews, Janey Camp and Rebecca Smith, both of Nashville, TN, Sandra Smith of Celina, TN, Brent (Karis) Smith of Columbia, MD, Trent (Jena) Smith of Salt Lake City, UT, Brandon Kirby of Morrison, TN and Ashley (Landon) King of Beersheba Springs, TN; great-nieces, Eliza Camp and Layla King; great-nephews, Sam Camp and Braxton and Lucas King; brother-in-law, James B. Smith of McMinnville and special friends, Jalen Jensen and Karigan Smith.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Chris Perry and Wayne Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow at Armstrong Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
Memorial contributions may be made to Armstrong Cemetery or the Ronald McDonald House.
