Marv Alt

McMinnville, TN resident and Richland Center, WI native Marv Alt, age 75, was born April 26, 1949 and died October 21, 2024 at his residence following an extended illness. 

A United States Air Force veteran of Vietnam, retired delivery driver for Warren Farmers Co-op and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Joseph Michael and Grace Olsen Alt. 

Mr. Alt was married March 17, 2001 to Marie Holland Alt of McMinnville who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by step-children, Colin (Tambitha) Kight and Crystal (Dillon) Lee both of McMinnville; seven grandchildren; children, Carol (Mikey) Burger of Wisconsin and Kevin (Paula) Johnson of Minnesota; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosemary Schroeder and Rita Harmon both of Wisconsin; brother, Michael (Cathy) Alt of Wisconsin and several nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Gentiva Hospice for everything.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2024 in High's Chapel with Ronnie Powell to officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Full military honors will be administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at High's.
