Mary Darland

Rock Island, TN resident and Grundy County, TN native Mary Darland, age 70, was born January 6, 1950 and died April 24, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Calvin & Geneva Caldwell Myers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Eugene Dale Darland; son, Eddie Adams; brothers, Franklin D. Myers, Robert Myers, Carl Myers and Delvie Myers; and sisters, Flossie Watts and Nadine Myers. She is survived by son, Benjamin (Kristy) Adams of McMinnville; four daughters, Dorothy Lyle of Morrison, TN, Connie Jaco of Murfreesboro, TN, Frances Marie Adams of Watertown, TN and Sharon Marie “Cookie” (Henry) McGuffin of Manchester, TN ; thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; three brothers, Elmer Myers of Alto, TN, Roy Myers of Estill Springs, TN and James Myers of Hillsboro, TN; two sisters, Patricia Thomas of Monteagle, TN and Ruby Myers of Hillsboro, TN.; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
