Mary Lois Argo Green

Mary Lois Argo Green, age 73, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, was born December 14, 1947 and died December 7, 2021 at Willow Branch Health and Rehab following an extended illness. She was retired from Magnetek, a former owner of Fairview Market and Green’s Garage, a member of Smyrna Church of Christ, and the daughter of the late John and Velma Prater Argo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Bobby Gene Green, and sisters, Ethel Kilgore, Ruth Ward, and Virginia Blaylock. Mrs. Green is survived by three children and daughter-in-law, Terry (Tina) Green, Mike Green, and Stacy Turner all of McMinnville, TN; seven grandchildren, Nathaniel (Lindsi) Green, Lacie Green, Meagan Green, Kerrie Green, Destiny Owen, Shayla (Bryan) McGee, and Austin (Lexi) Turner; six great-grandchildren; and two brothers and sister-in-law, Johnny (Joyce) Argo of McMinnville, TN and Bobby Argo of Oak Ridge, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Johnny Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in Smyrna Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
