Matthew Wayne Arnold

Smithville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Matthew Wayne Arnold, age 16, was born December 26, 2004 and died suddenly July 27, 2021 in Indianapolis, IN. A student at Quebeck Christian Education and a member of Quebeck Baptist Church, he was the son of Matthew Arnold of Indianapolis, IN and Susan McBride of McMinnville, TN. In addition to his parents, Mr. Arnold is survived by step-father, Jay McBride of McMinnville, TN; step-mother, Taylor Arnold of Indiana; siblings, Maryjane Arnold of McMinnville, TN, Derek Arnold, Hailey Arnold, and Joshua Arnold, all of Indiana, Ivan Pennington, Mallory McBride, and Walker McBride, all of McMinnville, TN; maternal grandmother, Sheila Davidson of McMinnville, TN; step-grandmother and step-grandfather, Vanessa and Bob Rigsby of McMinnville, TN; and step-grandfather and step-grandmother, Peanut and Patsy McBride of McMinnville, TN also survive. Matthew was the guy that wanted to make everyone laugh. He was always passionate about the things he wanted in that moment. He was so friendly to everyone, whether he knew them or not and was very generous with others when it came to his money. When he loved you, he loved with all of his heart. Matthew was a great son, brother, and friend who will always be missed. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021 in High’s Chapel with David Bratcher officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Mr. Arnold will be cremated. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
