Melba Maxine Mooneyham

Melba Maxine Mooneyham, age 73, a Cedar Grove Community resident of Spencer, TN and Warren County, TN native, was born November 7, 1947 and died April 19, 2021 at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville following an extended illness. She was a retired team leader with the Department of Children’s Services, a member of Spencer Church of Christ, and the daughter of the late I.V. and Evelyn Yates Hale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son-in-law, Kevin Bouldin. Mrs. Mooneyham is survived by her husband of 55 years, Monroe Mooneyham of Spencer, TN; daughters, Suzette (David) Barnes of Smithville, TN, and Jill Bouldin of Spencer, TN; grandchildren, Ashley (Josh) Dailey of Morristown, TN, Lakelyn and Layla Bouldin of Spencer, TN, and Kade Barnes of Smithville, TN; sister, Marilyn H. Baker of Spencer, TN; nephew, Trence Baker of Spencer, TN; and brother-in-law, Manuel (Pam) Mooneyham of Spencer, TN. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in High’s Chapel with R.C. Christian and Gene Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Long Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Spencer Church of Christ.
