Melissa Gray Key

Rock Island resident and McMinnville native Melissa Gray Key, age 62, was born January 9, 1963 and died March 14, 2025 at her residence.

A member of the Baptist church, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Goldie Roller Ferrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Lawrence Ralph and David Ferrell.

Ms. Key is survived by her spouse, Nolan Ray Foster of Rock Island; sons, Joe (Sherry) Judkins of Smithville and Nathan (Misty) Judkins of McMinnville; grandchildren, Allen Judkins, Haley (Jonthan) Vazquez, Jordan Judkins, Benjamin Jennings, Tyler (Mary) Jennings and Nathaniel Judkins; great-grandchildren, Lillian and Analise Judkins, Jasmine and Isabella Jennings, Victor, Zhavia and Willow Morales and Amiyah Judkins and siblings, Gladys Johnson, Bradley Ferrell, Gary Ferrell, Sue (Ronald) Dolberry, Virgil (Alvina) Ferrell, Raymond Ferrell, Rick Ferrell and James (Susan) Ferrell.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Asbury Cemetery in Rock Island with Dustin Stoetzel to officiate. There will be no service or visitation at High’s. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery.
