Michael Edward Woods, Jr.

McMinnville, TN resident and Clarksville, TN native Michael Edwards Woods, Jr., age 46, was born September 21, 1974 and died June 2, 2021 at River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN following an extended illness. A forklift driver for Yorozu and a member of Freedom Life Church, he was the son of Michael Edward Woods, Sr. and Peggy Blair Woods of McMinnville, TN. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Alfred and Estell Blair and Franklin D. and Donnie Mason. In addition to his parents, Mr. Woods is survived by son, Chad Edward Woods of McMinnville, TN; sister, Leisha (Michael) Hillis-Burks of McMinnville, TN; and nephew, Tyler Clark Hillis of McMinnville, TN. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Anthony Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County, TN.
