Michael Lance

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Michael Lance, age 46, was born September 16, 1978 and died February 11, 2025 at Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro following an extended illness. 

A self-employed contractor and member of Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, he was the son of the late David Michael Lance, Sr. and Freddie Jean Williamson Lance. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Taylor Grace Talbert.

Mr. Lance is survived by fiancée, Hope Knight of McMinnville; children, Jared Lance of McMinnville and Kylee Wogoman of Ohio; grandson, Rodney "Boone" Dye; sisters, Tonya (Chad) Bouldin and Jennifer (Dennis) Reagan both of McMinnville; nieces, Angel Lance, Takeisha McCormick and Shelby Watts; nephew, Keith McCormick; special nephew, Hooper Bowdoin; several great-nieces and great-nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2025 at Whitlock Cemetery in Warren County with Robby Black to officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at High’s.
