Michael Stephen McCormick

Morrison, TN resident and Wayne, MI native Michael Stephen McCormick, age 72, was born June 29, 1951 and died June 15, 2024 at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville following an extended illness.

A maintenance worker and member of the Baptist church, he was the son of the late, Charles and Elaine Derouin McCormick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Chris McCormick; sisters, Cheryl Parton and Penny Clendenon and brothers, Rodney McCormick and David McCormick.

Mr. McCormick was married October 21, 1972 to Ann McCormick of Morrison who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Mark (Samantha) McCormick of Morrison; daughter-in-law, JoJo McCormick of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Emily Rutherford (Kyle) of El Paso, TX, Megan McCormick of El Paso, Wyatt McCormick and Ridge McCormick; brothers, Pat (June) McCormick and Dennis McCormick both of McMinnville and nieces, Galinda Bonner and Katie.

Per his wishes, Mr. McCormick will be cremated. There will be no service or visitation at High's.
