Michael "Pistol Pete" Martin

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Michael “Pistol Pete” Martin, age 66, was born February 21, 1957 and died August 4, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness.           

An employee of Three Star Cinema, ordained minister and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he was the son of the late Billy Thomas and Virgie Louise Wright Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two nephews, Vandy Fults and Travis Davis. 

Mr. Martin is survived by daughter, Stephanie Martin of Tullahoma, TN; two sisters, Pam Amoroso and Brenda Kozel, both of McMinnville; brother, George Leonard Martin of Murfreesboro, TN and three nephews, Richard Moore, Jason Moore and Timothy Martin. 

Graveside service and interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 7, 2023 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County with Bobby Bond officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at High’s.
