Myrtle Frances Hawkins

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Myrtle Frances Hawkins, age 86, was born May 8, 1938 and died March 9, 2025 at her daughters residence following a brief illness.

A retired employee of A.O. Smith and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Rayburn and Frances Ogles Priest. She was married to Lee Hawkins who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Vickie Scott.

Mrs. Hawkins is survived by daughter, Janet Hawkins of McMinnville; grandson, Tyson Scott of Morrison, TN; great-granddaughter, Savanah Scott (Brian Beedle) of Morrison, TN; great-great-grandsons, Easton, Hudson and Owen Beedle and son-in-law, Carl Scott of Morrison, TN.

Graveside service and interment will be held at Mt. View Cemetery on Highway 30 in Warren County on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Anthony Campbell officiating. No service or visitation will be held at High’s. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
