Noel Pepper

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County native Noel Pepper, age 78, was born June 26, 1946 and died November 5, 2024 at his residence following an extended illness.

A United States Navy veteran, retired owner and manager of Kingwood Foodland and member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ, he was the son of the late James Estil and Wilma Louise Wiseman Pepper.

Mr. Pepper was married June 21, 1997 to Martha Rhea Pepper of McMinnville who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Brad (Teresa) Pepper of Morrison, TN, Lisa (Jason) Norris of McMinnville, Leslie (Chad) Carter of Rock Island, TN and Lori Pepper of McMinnville; step-sons, Jeff (Denice) Rhea of McMinnville and David Rhea of Aylett, VA; sixteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; brother, Darrell Pepper of Lebanon, TN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ronnie (Jan) Hibdon and Phyllis Hibdon (Michael Egar) and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024 in High’s Chapel with Tony Lawrence and Trent Key to officiate. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in McMinnville. Full military honors will be administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
